Divock Origi is not part of Stefano Pioli’s plans for the upcoming season, but Milan are still waiting for offers to arrive for the unwanted former Liverpool forward.

Origi was brought to San Siro on a free transfer following the expiry of his deal at Anfield, but had an underwhelming first season at San Siro, scoring just twice.

The 28-year-old is, however, one of Milan’s top earners, taking home an annual salary reported to be around €4m and is contracted to the club until the summer of 2026.

The Rossoneri would like for him to leave before the end of the summer transfer window, but as of yet, no official offers have come in according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

There had been interest from Saudi Arabia, but Origi had said no to the idea, hoping for a return to the Premier League instead.

La Gazzetta writes that if Milan do not find a new home for Origi in the next few weeks, they will have to start preparing for a scenario where he stays on with the club into the 2023-24 season.

  1. Ac Milan you got Origi for nothing, ruined him and now want money.

You should call LFC and ask them if they would take him.

I think that LFC should take him

  2. @finners I kind of agree, however, I’m sure that wasn’t the purpose. They were hoping he will deliver more but it was likely a disappointment.

Now the question is what they will do next to keep themselves and Origi happy in the same time?
