The Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Milan’s joint-CEO Barbara Berlusconi is pressing ahead with plans to build the new stadium near the club’s headquarters, Casa Milan.

The newspaper states that a new stadium which would hold between 40,000 and 45,000 spectators will be built in the Portello area of the city, just around the corner for the current HQ.

Gazzetta believes that Berlusconi is hoping to present the plans to shareholders at the beginning of February, to finally get Milan’s new stadium plans off the ground.
