Back in February, Massimiliano Allegri's men drew 1-1 with Cagliari, and a statement on their official website has claimed that Serie A has been 'altered' this season.
“The League announced that the Cagliari-Fiorentina match will be behind-closed-doors,” the statement read.
“Milan had to play on February 10, 2013 in front of a full stadium, along with six other teams.
“Three teams played in front of season-ticket holders and three other behind-closed-doors.
“Only one, Juventus, was on a neutral ground. And in one case [Roma] the game was forfeited and given as a 3-0 win.
“This decision is one that any reasonable person would consider incomprehensible because identical cases have dealt with differently.
“It is certain that the normal course of Serie A has been altered.”
