Milan have reportedly scheduled a meeting with Real Madrid over Brahim Diaz’s permanent move, but there are more players the two sides could discuss.

The Rossoneri No.10 returned to San Siro one year ago on a two-year loan deal with an option to buy for €22m. The Serie A leaders have trust in the Spaniard but will be looking to lower Madrid’s asking price.

According to Calciomercato.com, Madrid and Milan have scheduled a meeting to discuss the player’s future, but more names could be on the table when directors from the two clubs meet during the next few weeks. The report doesn’t mention Luka Jovic, but different sources in Spain and Italy continue to link the 24-year-old with a move to San Siro.

Jovic turned down the Rossoneri in January 2021 over fears that he would not get regular playing time. He has only played 473 minutes this season, scoring one goal across 17 appearances. Milan and Real Madrid directors are on good terms following some deals completed in the past.

  1. Hope they get it done. Not too sure about Jovic but there are probably other deals to be done too.

  2. A real shame that this has become a debate as that 22m seemed perfectly alright in the first few weeks of the season before Covid left its mark on him.

However I totally agree as 22m seems off the mark now, but we have to remember the real Brahim is still inside there somewhere.

Isma & Tonali were washed up a bit after their bouts of Covid too. We need to find a way to bring him back.

  3. I don’t get the whole Jovic thing. Why is he still of interest? His record just doesn’t scream “striker solution”.

  4. I hope they meet to send him home early. There’s absolutely no point in keeping him even as a bench warmer. He is broken after COVID unfortunately.

So we as fans demand loyalty from players yet you are ready to send Diaz “home early” because he lost form after contracting a covid-19? He’s now no longer even fit to warm out bench?

  6. Unbelievable comment. Easily worth 22m and he’s not “broken after COVID”. It took Kimmich a while to get over it too but I doubt Bayern fans were saying his contract should be ripped up.

  7. The most technical player on Milan. I would keep him at the right price. Something is a amiss about his play though…may be post COVID as everyone states. Hopefully he can get back to proper levels.
