The Rossoneri President caused alarm yesterday when he declared he’d “have to take back Milan with great pleasure” if the deal isn’t done in time.

According to Corriere della Sera, the Chinese consortium remains confident that the deal will be done in time, as do Fininvest, Berlusconi’s holding company.

If permission from the Chinese government to move the money to Europe doesn’t arrive in time, Sino-Europe would provide bank guarantees based on the capital it has available in China.
