Napoli star Victor Osimhen could remain out of action for more than a month, missing several games, including those against Milan and Rangers.

The Partenopei have confirmed a second-degree lesion in the striker’s right bicep following a 4-1 win over Liverpool on Wednesday night.

Osimhen has already begun his recovery and he won’t return to action before the September break, meaning that he will miss matches against Spezia, Rangers and Milan.

According to Calciomercato.com, it usually takes four to five weeks to recover from these injuries, so Osimhen is expected to be on the sidelines also when the season resumes in October.

Napoli host Torino at the Stadio Maradona after the break and face Ajax twice in a week with the away Serie A fixture against Cremonese between the two European games.

If his recovery time is confirmed, Osimhen would be back in the home Serie A clash against Bologna on October 16 or away at Roma the following weekend, on October 23.
