The Rossoneri were one of three Italian clubs, along with Juventus and Inter, to originally sign up for the breakaway league.

The Lega Serie A and FIGC are taking steps to change the code of conduct to ensure a similar incident does not happen again.

Meanwhile, Milan President Scaroni today formalised his resignation as a counsellor for the Lega Serie A.

He had already offered to resign on April 22, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, but that had not yet been accepted.

Today’s Lega Serie A meeting also agreed to postpone until the next session discussions over the Super League, as well as the TV rights yet to be assigned.
