Mauro Tassotti has lamented Milan’s inability to keep clean sheets, and says they needed to handle possession better yesterday against Inter.

“It could have been an important opportunity, but we went wrong in the game,” Tassotti considered post-match.

“We gave everything we had, we created opportunities to take the lead again, but we cannot say we deserved it.

“We did quite well, but then we made a few mistakes too – we have to finish games without conceding goals, otherwise we will struggle to win games.

“We struggled in the first quarter of this match and in the second half we made too many mistakes.

“When we were in the lead we struggled to keep the ball. Bonaventura and Honda can help us to do this. We have to get the right mix between those who do this and those who prefer going to goal.”
