Milan met with Sassuolo to discuss Italy international Giacomo Raspadori, claim Sky Sport Italia, having already shown interest in Domenico Berardi and Gianluca Scamacca.

The Rossoneri are working to improve their squad for the Champions League, having won their first Serie A title in 11 years.

According to Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, they met with Sassuolo directors on Wednesday afternoon to discuss their forwards.

In recent weeks, Scamacca and Berardi had been mentioned as possible targets for Milan, but they have now become sought after by the likes of Inter, Arsenal and Juventus, pushing the price-tags up.

The Rossoneri are looking at Raspadori, the 22-year-old forward who can play as a centre-forward, a support striker or a left-sided winger.

No proposal was made, but they expressed their interest in the talent who scored 10 goals and provided six assists in 36 Serie A appearances this season.

A product of the Sassuolo youth academy, the asking price is in the region of €35 million.

3 thought on “Milan meet Sassuolo over Raspadori amid Berardi, Scamacca interest – report”
  1. This guy is so over hyped that is getting ridiculous.
Berardi is fine, but as NT saud, the other two are just inflated players

  2. We don’t need Raspadori. Berardi has never made the step up that he would need to in order to be a success at Milan so it’s Scamacca from the 3 for me. Great season and would fit Milan like a glove.
