Milan directors haven’t only met Hakim Ziyech‘s lawyer Sebastien Ledure today but also held talks with representatives of Chelsea starlet Armando Broja and Ismael Bennacer’s agent.

The Rossoneri are moving quickly towards the January transfer window. Although the most awaited meeting with Rafael Leao’s father didn’t take place, there have been other interesting developments around Casa Milan today.

There is another contract extension the Serie A champions want to finalise and it concerns Bennacer.

The Algeria international has a contract until 2024, but his agent met Milan today and put talks on hold after receiving a €3m-a-year offer. The ex-Empoli midfielder currently gets €1.7m per season, but is reportedly not interested in extending with Milan just yet and is willing to listen to offers from foreign clubs, especially in England and Spain.

Bennacer has been recently linked with a move to Liverpool.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, the Rossoneri also met the intermediary Cheikh Fall who is said to be very close to the entourage of Chelsea striker Broja. The 21-year-old is one of the options for Milan who will be looking for a long-term replacement for Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Olivier Giroud in 2023.

According to the report, former Milan defender Christian Zaccardo, now an intermediary, also attended the meeting at Casa Milan.

  1. Doubling his money means that he’d be on about £65k/week not a fantastic amount by any7body’s standards in football. City’s reserves are probably on more than that.

  2. Are players even legally allowed to “listen” to offers from other club without the permission of the current club? I meant obviously it is possible (and had always occured) under the table.
