Fabian Ruiz insists he wants ‘the best’ for Napoli despite leaving the club in the summer after being frozen out of the team.
The Spain international joined PSG in the summer after being left out of the Napoli squad for the first few games of the campaign. He had refused to sign a new deal with the Partenopei, so Napoli feared they could lose him for nothing in 2023.
“I trained alone for a month and I had to get back in shape,” the Spaniard told La Gazzetta Dello Sport.
Does he still watch Napoli?
“Yes, I spent four years there, a piece of my heart belongs to them. I am so happy for them. They’ve had a great start to the season, they are first in Serie A and in their Champions League group. I have friends there, and I want the best for them.”
