The Argentina international is now owned outright by Verona, who activated their buy-out clause after a season-long loan spell.

However, Iturbe is not expected to remain at the Stadio Bentegodi, as his price-tag has rocketed thanks to performances this term.

According to today’s edition of the Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan President Silvio Berlusconi has given the go-ahead to a €25m offer for Iturbe.

The 21-year-old would be a huge investment for new Coach Pippo Inzaghi, joining Jeremy Menez and Alex in the side.

It is also reported that Roma and Juventus are continuing their interest in Iturbe, while several European clubs have set their sights on the young forward.
