According to Sky Sport Italia, Divock Origi is dealing with a bicep injury and will be assessed again next week, while Mike Maignan will undergo further medical tests in two weeks.

Both players will miss Milan‘s first game of 2023, away at Salernitana. Maignan has been struggling with a calf injury since September and made his last competitive appearance for his club three months ago, on September 18, against Napoli.

The France goalkeeper underwent a medical examination today and according to Sky Sport Italia, he will be assessed again in two weeks.

This means that Maignan remains in doubt for the Supercoppa clash against Inter on January 18.

The Rossoneri have already reached an agreement with Marco Sportiello for next year and could try to bring him to the club in January, given Maignan’s condition.

Origi has suffered a low-degree injury in the femoral bicep and will have a new MRI scan next week. The same is true of Junior Messias and Rade Krunic who are dealing with minor muscle problems.
