Milan will reportedly try to sign Roma striker Edin Dzeko this summer as they look for a ‘guaranteed’ goalscorer.

According to Tuttosport, Borussia Dortmund winger Marco Reus remains the ‘dream’, but Milan also need a striker that “guarantees at least 15-20 goals in Serie A”.

Consequently, Dzeko would have emerged as “a strong candidate”, with Patrick Cutrone, Nikola Kalinic and Andre Silva only managing nine goals between them.

Consequently, Dzeko would have emerged as “a strong candidate”, with Patrick Cutrone, Nikola Kalinic and Andre Silva only managing nine goals between them.

The newspaper explains Roma “need to sell”, and despite the Rossoneri “not having the funds of last summer”, they could afford €25m as Kalinic “is the No 1 candidate to leave.”

Furthermore, the Diavolo would be able to match the Bosnian’s €4.5m salary or even improve it, given Gianluigi Donnarumma is on €6m and Leonardo Bonucci €8m.

Dzeko, who was heavily linked with Chelsea last month, has scored 14 goals in 32 appearances for the Giallorossi this season.
