Milan sporting director Leonardo has reportedly flown to Brazil for talks with Gremio over a deal for winger Everton Soares.
According to Fox Sports Brasil, Leonardo will use the trip to drive down Gremio’s asking price of €80m – which is Everton’s release clause.
The broadcaster explains the Brazilian side are prepared to sell the 23-year-old but only once their participation in the Copa Libertadores is over.

Leonardo was also instrumental in bringing Lucas Paqueta to San Siro earlier in the season, making a similar trip to his homeland for the midfielder.
However, Radio Rossoneri claims Leonardo is in Turin with fellow Rossoneri director Paolo Maldini for Saturday’s Serie A clash with Juventus.
