Milan seem set to miss out on talented prospect Mamadou Coulibaly, who will leave Monaco on a free transfer this summer.

The Rossoneri have been following the 18-year-old French midfielder closely for some time now, making first contact with his entourage last year. The Rossoneri reportedly visited the principality earlier this year to had another meeting with his agents, a sign of their continued interest.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, Milan will miss out on Coulibaly this summer, despite their serious attempts to bring him to Italy. The French teenager, although flattered by the interest of the Rossoneri, would prefer to continue his development in Ligue 1.

The Milanese club will continue to keep a close eye on the 18-year-old Coulibaly, aware that he’s a serious talent for the future.

The talented teenager is a creative and tactically intelligent midfielder who is said to play in a similar fashion to Real Madrid’s Eduardo Camavinga.

  1. @MG

Seems they are run properly, unlike the clowns in Serie A who would rather ignore the youth team and sign an ageing epl has-been on 5 million a year.

  2. France has always produced incredible talents… Always. They just never stay in France for very long.

  3. France has always produced incredible talents but the never stay in France for very long. You could ask the question, what’s wrong with the French league where their best talents always leave young?
