Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani has underlined that his club need to sell before they can buy this summer.

The Rossoneri have been linked with bids for Manchester City’s Carlos Tevez and Sampdoria’s” data-scaytid=”5″>Sampdoria’s Andrea Poli, but their market moves are on hold.

“We are not interested in Tevez at this moment in time,” Galliani stated to the Corriere dello Sport. “We can’t do anything given that we already have seven attackers in our squad.

“It’s the same situation for Poli, he’ll only arrive if three or four players leave first. I repeat, we have more players than are necessary right now.”

One of the players the Diavolo are looking to sell is Robinho, but his proposed return to Santos is still on hold.

“Robinho remains one of our players,” the official added. “The offer from Santos does not correspond with the request of Milan.

“As a result he will stay with us. The Brazilian market closes on July 15, although that may be extended until July 20.”

Milan’s inability to make a bid for Tevez has opened the door for Juventus to swoop for the Argentine. Turin clubs officials are expected in Manchester today.
