Tuttosport reports today that Inter have identified the Argentina international as a potential candidate to reinforce their midfield but will have to contend with their neighbours.

The newspaper says that the Rossoneri already tried to sign Biglia last summer at the time of Alessandro Matri’s move to the Biancocelesti, but were put off by President Claudio Lotito’s high demands.

Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani could attempt to convince the 30-year-old of a move again if Lazio fail to qualify for Europe, but Lotito will continue to be a difficult obstacle to overcome.

The World Cup runner-up has scored four goals in 18 Serie A matches for Lazio this season.
