Massimiliano Allegri is remarkably close to having a fully fit Milan squad to work with for the remaining weeks of the season.

Kevin Prince Boateng, Thiago Silva and Massimo Ambrosini all trained with the main group in Monday’s session, meaning that apart from the injured Alexandre Pato and suspended Daniele Bonera, the Rossoneri have almost everyone available for their midweek fixture with Genoa.

It is the closest Allegri has been all season to being able to select from a full roster, with 2011-12 otherwise characterised for the number of continued absences the team have been faced with.

Only six games ago did the Diavolo travel to Parma with a season-high 13 players unavailable for selection. Milan currently trail League leaders Juventus by three points in the race for the Scudetto, having dropped seven points from the past four rounds of action.
