Milan are reportedly making a move for Roma and Italy full-back Alessandro Florenzi.

Florenzi spent last term on loan with Paris Saint-Germain but is not in Jose Mourinho’s plans at the Giallorossi.

The 30-year-old was loaned out to Valencia in the second half of 2019-20 and seems set to move elsewhere this summer, but his deal with Roma only expires in June 2023.

Roma have 23 players on the market

Sky Sport Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio claims Milan are interested in the right-back, as they struggle to secure another deal with Manchester United over Diogo Dalot.

The Rossoneri have, according to the report, contacted Roma to enquire about the Italy international’s availability.

Florenzi has experience from the Champions League with Valencia, PSG and most of all Roma, where he featured 32 times in the competition.

The experienced full-back and former captain of Roma has played 227 times in Serie A for La Lupa, but is on the transfer market, as the Giallorossi want to get rid of his high salary.

  1. Absolute nonsense. We might as well keep Conti. Florenzi brings nothing. A terrible player with the best agent and biggest luck.
