Lazio midfield playmaker Hernanes believes Milan are superior to his side, even though just three points separate the two title rivals in the table.

The Aquile's 3-2 victory over Udinese on Sunday means they are still hanging on to the League leaders' coat tails going into the annual winter break.

"I don't know which team is favourite for the Scudetto, but of course I remain very impressed by Lazio," Hernanes explained.

"Sure Milan have shown themselves to be superior. They have players of a great level.

"Milan's strength is that they have many strong players. Having many alternatives is a very positive factor for them.

"Personally I am happy with these first five months in Rome. I have been made to feel very welcome by this city, which soon made me feel at home.

"The only problem up until this point was the defeat against Roma in the derby, which gave me a great displeasure. But we will play another and I hope that it will go better."
