Reports suggest Milan Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic’s job is safe – at least until after the Coppa Italia tie with Carpi.

The Rossoneri were defeated at home by Bologna yesterday, leaving them 11 points adrift of city rivals Inter, who top the table.

Club President Silvio Berlusconi has made no secret of his disappointment with Mihajlovic in the past, and reports this morning suggested a sacking was imminent.

However, according to Mediaset – controlled by Berlusconi’s company Fininvest – no action will be taken until after the Coppa Italia tie with Carpi at the earliest.

The Diavolo face two games in quick succession, with Roma at Stadio Olimpico on Saturday then the Biancorossi on Wednesday.
