Sinisa Mihajlovic says Milan need to recover their form for Jeremy Menez's return and to use the 4-3-1-2.

The Rossoneri are enjoying a good string of results ahead of tomorrow's game at 11:30 against Genoa.

However their physical condition is questionable to say the least, with so many strikers injured that the Serbian Coach has to choose between Mario Balotelli and M'Baye Niang, both out of form. Still, Mihajlovic is certain his team can compete for European qualification and fears nobody.

“In fact I fear ourselves more than all the others, though between the three competitors I think Roma have something more [compared to Inter and Fiorentina],” he told the Press.

“Assuming an equal condition of form, my choice of strikers would be Niang and Balotelli, without [Carlos] Bacca,” he joked, in response to the demand that he pick one of the former two players.

“Milan have everything extra compared to the other three above us. We're better physically and psychologically, we're more of a team, and we create more.

“Our odds of making the Champions League? I'm poor in maths and even worst in probability.

“Returning to the 4-3-1-2? It's certainly an option once everyone is fit. In some of the matches we'll change the formation mid-game.”

Mihajlovic was then asked about Jeremy Menez, who is still recovering from back problems.

“His return depends on him, when he has the right intensity and he's in the proper condition, he's an important player.

“We're all looking forward to his return, but he's still very far from the right condition. We'll give him playing time when there's an opportunity. His quality makes him decisive, but only when he's fit.

“[Riccardo] Montolivo won't get a yellow card tomorrow, this way he can play against Napoli too.

Juventus-Napoli? I don't give a damn!” he laughed. “May the best one win. We'll certainly watch it tonight, but I have no preference. We're focused on ourselves.

“[Keisuke] Honda? He needs my left foot to score. Seriously though, he's got a good shot, he should work on it.

“You can teach people a few tricks to shoot free kicks, but everyone has their own style.”
