Melo joined the Old Lady two years ago in a €24m switch from Serie A rivals Fiorentina. If he does move on then England could be a possible destination.

"Right now he is doing well and we have no official communication saying that he is for sale," the representative added.

"However, if Juventus decide they want to sell him the Premier League would be one of his favourite options available to him."

Arsenal and Liverpool have been associated with the 2010 World Cup player. Melo is now 27-years-old.
