Director Beppe Marotta warned Juventus “must be stronger than unfair incidents against us” after the defeat to Milan.

The Bianconeri felt Miralem Pjanic’s goal should not have been disallowed, although the complexity of the offside rule now made it a tricky situation.

“Our anger was not just at the refereeing error, as Juventus must be stronger than unfair incidents against us,” Marotta told Mediaset Premium.

“We must prove that we are the Juventus that wants to win the Scudetto and therefore tonight requires an important performance.

“I think every area can be improved and perfection does not exist. Evidently the constant change of formation is tied to a compression of fixtures in the Champions League and international duty, plus injuries that occurred.

“Juventus are made up not of reserves, but of co-first team picks and everyone must feel they are firmly part of the group.

“The important thing is to win, then if we do it via good football isn’t the priority.”
