There are multiple reports and social media hints that Juventus icon Claudio Marchisio is returning to Serie A for Brescia.

The Bianconeri fan favourite spent practically his entire career in hometown Turin was released in September 2018 and moved to Zenit St Petersburg.

He made only 15 competitive appearances for the Russian club, scoring two goals, and is now a free agent.

Sky Sport Italia, Sportitalia and more all report Brescia have offered Marchisio a two-year contract worth €1m per year plus numerous bonuses.

The 33-year-old dropped a hint that he’s back in business with an Instagram and Twitter post: “Tick tock. #imready”

It would be another real coup for Brescia, who are already on the verge of signing Mario Balotelli, also a free agent.
