Monaco are back in negotiations with Juventus for Daniele Rugani, as Roma risk missing out on yet another transfer target.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the Ligue 1 club have stepped up talks for Rugani, whose asking price remains €30m.

Juve already showed they would be prepared to accept a loan at €5m with obligation to buy at the end of the season for a further €25m.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the Ligue 1 club have stepped up talks for Rugani, whose asking price remains €30m.

Juve already showed they would be prepared to accept a loan at €5m with obligation to buy at the end of the season for a further €25m.

Roma had practically sealed a deal, but then moved their focus back to Liverpool veteran Dejan Lovren, only for that to collapse at the last minute.

It now remains to be seen if Monaco will be able to sway Rugani or if he’ll prefer to remain in Serie A with the Giallorossi.

The Italy international knows he has to leave Juventus, as the arrival of Matthijs de Ligt and Merih Demiral pushed him even further down the pecking order.
