According to Tuttosport newspaper, Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof has been offered to Inter, with the Nerazzurri looking for Milan Skriniar’s replacement.

Lindelof has been struggling with playing time at Old Trafford this season and has recently admitted he wants to play more.

“I want to play, that’s why I play football, but I don’t think about that. This summer, we will analyze the situation and we’ll see what’s best,” Lindelof said while on international break, as quoted by Fabrizio Romano.

The Italian transfer expert added Inter approached the Red Devils defender during the January window, but Erik ten Hag refused to sell.

According to Tuttosport newspaper, Lindelof remains on Inter’s sights and has offered his services to the Nerazzurri through his agent.

Beppe Marotta is looking for a new centre-back given that Skriniar will join PSG on a free transfer in June and Lindelof remains an option for the Benamata.

Francesco Acerbi wants to remain at San Siro, making his loan move from Lazio permanent, while Stefan de Vrij seems eager to signing a new deal, but Inter will need at least one more centre-back in 2023-24.

Lindelof’s contract at Old Trafford expires in June 2024, but the Red Devils have an option to extend for a further campaign.
