Diogo Dalot could return to Serie A for Roma rather than Milan, as the Manchester United full-back is on the radar after Feyenoord hold onto Marcus Holmgren Pederson.

The 22-year-old Portugal international spent last season on loan at Milan, making 33 competitive appearances in which he scored two goals and provided three assists.

The loan was not made permanent and he returned to Manchester United, but has so far made just six appearances in all competition.

According to Calciomercato.com, Dalot could return to Italy for Roma, where he would reunite with former Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho.

At the time, he was only 19 years old and made 16 appearances under the Special One.

Roma are seeking an alternative to Rick Karsdorp at right-back and Dalot’s versatility can also be a key, as he can play on either side of a four-man defence.

The first pick had been Pederson, but Tele Radio Stereo report that Feyenoord have no intention of releasing him in January.
