Parma will wear a special edition jersey to mark 26 years since Gianluigi Buffon made his Serie A debut, now that he is back at the Stadio Tardini in Serie B.
The 17-year-old goalkeeper was a surprise pick to play against Fabio Capello’s Milan after the first choice was suspended.
He kept a clean sheet in the 0-0 draw and the career of the GOAT began.
That was on November 19, 1995 and to mark 26 years sine that moment, Parma and Errea Sport have released a new special edition jersey that replicates the one Buffon was wearing on his Serie A debut.
It follows roughly the same red and white pattern with a black panel and has 1995-2021 inscribed.
Buffon will wear it during the Serie B game against Cosenza at the Stadio Tardini on November 21.
The special edition shirt is on sale in a box that includes a signed picture of Buffon in the 1995-96 season wearing that jersey.
On 19 November 1995, @gianluigibuffon made his Parma debut. To celebrate this anniversary, he’ll wear a special @ErreaOfficial shirt in our next match 👕

I remember watching that debut as a Milan fan and you could see he was something special straight away, cool they do these special edition shirts now and this is a well deserved one for the best GK in history imo
Damn he’s looking pretty rough lol. A shave wouldn’t go amiss.
