Manchester City are seriously interested in picking up Rafael Leao and rumours suggest that they’re willing to send Jack Grealish to Milan in exchange for the Portuguese forward.

The 23-year-old only has around 18 months left on his contract with the Rossoneri and has been offered a renewal worth around €6.5m net per season. The Sky Blues are one of many clubs keen on Leao and have reportedly prepared a contract worth double Milan’s latest offer, putting the pressure on directors Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara.

As reported by Calciomercatoweb and The Sun, Manchester City are so keen on picking up Leao that they’d be willing to send Grealish to Milan in exchange for the Portuguese forward. The 27-year-old Englishman cost the Premier League giants around €117.5m last year.

Although an intriguing idea, the Rossoneri are not planning to accept the offer. The first reason is because of the former Aston Villa man’s salary, around £15m net per season, and the second is the difference in age.

  1. Grelish is super overhyped and overrated average English player. I don’t like Milan but they will lose from this deal no matter what they got as cash + Grealish
