The new coach was “happy” to see his team keep up with Milan despite suffering a 1-0 loss at San Siro on Monday, but has claimed that the Granata will have to stop their run of six consecutive defeats before they can be “satisfied” with their work.

“I will only be satisfied with the performance when the points arrive,” Longo told Torino Channel. “We can’t be satisfied with the mentality seen against Milan.

“We stayed in the game, always trying to get back into the match. I am happy with this, but we can’t be satisfied with anything.

“We have to keep working, because I see signs of improvement.”

Torino are currently 14th in the League and are preparing for a home game against Parma on Sunday, when they face another team fighting for a spot in Europe next term.
