Reports are gathering pace that Inter boss Leonardo is pondering an offer from Paris SG to become their new technical director.

L'Equipe yesterday suggested that the Brazilian, who played for the club as a player, had been approached by the capital outfit over the role.

The same French publication has now suggested that Leo will give his response in the next 48 hours.

The story thus seems to add credibility to the Gazzetta dello Sport's exclusive yesterday that Inter President Massimo Moratti has held talks with Marcelo Bielsa.

The story thus seems to add credibility to the Gazzetta dello Sport's exclusive yesterday that Inter President Massimo Moratti has held talks with Marcelo Bielsa.

Bielsa, an Argentine tactician who led Chile at the World Cup in 2010, is today being heralded by the same paper as Inter's first choice replacement should Leo walk.

However, Bielsa is not the only candidate linked with the perhaps soon to be vacant position at San Siro.

Porto boss André Villas Boas is being associated with the role, as is Claudio Ranieri after he quit at Roma in February.

Former Inter defender Laurent Blanc has been paired too even if it is unlikely that he would be tempted away from the French national side.

Moratti dismissed the reports yesterday. "I've spoken to Leonardo," he stated. "He's on holiday in Brazil. There is nothing concrete about the rumours which are circulating.

"There has been no contact with Bielsa, I deny everything," Moratti continued. "Leonardo is our Coach and an excellent one."

Inter administrator Ernesto Paolillo also cooled the reports. "They are just stories," was his short response.

Meanwhile, speculation is already suggesting that Leonardo could sign Ganso for PSG if he moves to the Ligue 1 club.

The Brazilian midfielder, who the Coach knows well, has been heavily linked with Milan and Inter over the last six months.
