Lazio could miss out on another seemingly done deal, as Roma and Milan are interested in Fenerbahce striker Vedat Muriqi.

It had appeared to be a completed agreement between the clubs and player, with €18m going to Fenerbahce and the forward receiving a five-year contract.

However, as with David Silva, the days go by and it has still not been finalised, leaving the door open for other teams to step in.

In fact, Fenerbahce released a statement yesterday confirming they have “received various offers from various clubs. There were reports the Italian team Lazio has signed Muriqi for cash and another player. We wish to make clear this is not a true reflection of the situation.”

According to siamolaroma.it, now Roma and Milan have also made proposals for Muriqi and a bidding war is breaking out.

The 26-year-old Kosovo international scored 17 goals with seven assists in 36 competitive games for Fenerbahce this season.
