Napoli are increasingly marginalised in the race for Lille defender Gabriel, as after Arsenal and Manchester United, now PSG are involved.

Italian and French reports had a deal done with Napoli worth €28m plus bonuses, but it could not be completed until either Kalidou Koulibaly or Arkadiusz Milik had first been sold.

As both those deals – Koulibaly to Manchester United, Milik to either Roma or Juventus – are dragging on, the Partenopei are stuck.
