Mario Mandzukic could remain in Serie A, as it’s reported Lazio are leading the hunt for the Juventus centre-forward.

The Croatia international is widely expected to leave Juve this summer, as he does not fit into new Coach Maurizio Sarri’s vision, which would move Cristiano Ronaldo to the centre of the attack.

A move abroad had been assumed, with interest from Spain, Germany, France and England.

However, now Bosnian site Klix claims Lazio represent his potential destination, where he’d meet up with fellow Croatian Milan Badelj.

The main concern would be Mandzukic’s €4m per year salary, especially as the 33-year-old only signed a new contract in April that runs to June 2021.
