Stephan El Shaarawy could leave Roma this summer, as it’s reported he is asking for a €3m net salary plus bonuses.

His contract is due to expire in June 2020, so a sale is likely rather than to let it run down so he can leave as a free agent next year.

According to the Corriere dello Sport, the Little Pharaoh is demanding a four-year deal worth €3m per season net, plus performance-related bonuses, which would bring it up to almost €4m.

Meanwhile, El Shaarawy is increasingly mentioned as part of exchange deals, most recently for Fiorentina midfielder Jordan Veretout.

It seems as if the Italy international is not part of new Coach Paulo Fosenca’s plans.

Yet the 26-year-old was Roma’s top scorer this season with 11 Serie A goals and five assists in 28 games.
