Inter are reported to be considering a move to bring Paris Saint-Germain’s Ezequiel Lavezzi back to Italy.

The Argentinian joined PSG from Napoli for a €26.5m fee in 2012, but has mainly featured in a substitute role this season.

The Gazzetta dello Sport believes that with Roberto Mancini looking for wingers as he seeks to move away from Walter Mazzarri’s 3-5-2 system, Inter will look to bring the player to Milan.

The newspaper states that a January move would be difficult, but is of the opinion that Lavezzi could well arrive in the summer.

According to the sports daily, Lavezzi currently earns around €4.5m per season in Paris, and would be offered €3.5m plus bonuses to make the switch to San Siro.

The paper reports that Mancini has specifically asked director Piero Ausilio to make the transfer happen, and while the latter was initially reluctant, his stance has softened after meetings with the Coach.

Lavezzi is thought to be keen on a return to Italy, but much would depend on whether Inter will be able to offer Champions League football next season.
