Juventus hero Milos Krasic feels fired up and “not afraid of Inter” after wearing the captain's armband for Serbia.

The winger was their stand-out player at the start of the season, but has seemed tired in recent weeks.

“I am so happy to have worn the captain's armband, as I thought Marko Pantelic would be chosen,” he said of Wednesday's 2-0 international friendly win in Israel.

“I would like to follow in the footsteps of Dejan Stankovic as captain of Serbia.”

On Sunday evening Krasic will face Stankovic's Inter in the Derby d'Italia.

“I am not afraid of Inter and have no problems facing them, as I know the potential of our team.

Milan are favourites for the Scudetto, but the Nerazzurri can still get back into the race.”
