Justin Kluivert is delighted to have signed for Roma, describing the Giallorossi as ‘the best choice’ he could have made.
The 19-year-old Dutchman enjoyed a breakthrough year at hometown club Ajax last season, scoring 10 times in 30 Eredivisie appearances.
This persuaded the Giallorossi to spend €17.25m on his services, with the forward excited about the next stage of his career.
“I think Roma is the best choice for me. I will give 100 per cent for the team,” Kluivert told Pro Soccer Talk.

“Nobody can give more than 100 per cent, so let’s see how it goes.
“I want to be important for the club and I think that together we can achieve great things.”
Kluivert sees similarities between the Italian capital and his home city of Amsterdam.
“I come from Amsterdam, a great city with great people.
“Here in Rome the fans give everything for the team, just like Ajaxin Holland. It’s good to see that here as well.”
