The Swedish goalkeeper’s arrival at the Stadio Olimpico from Danish club FC Copenhagen was officially confirmed yesterday.
And following the completion of the €12m deal, the 28-year-old took to social media to reveal his happiness at joining last season’s Champions League semi-finalists.
“Delighted to join this amazing club and big family @officialasroma, Olsen wrote on his official Instagram account.

“Now I am officially here!! When I first heard about it, I immediately knew my future is at AS Roma and I can’t wait to get started!”
Olsen, who arrives at Roma to replace Alisson, also thanked his former club for his two-and-a-half-year spell, which saw him win both the Danish League and Cup twice.
”It's also very special for me leaving @fc_kobenhavn, another big family that I won trophies with, made number of great memories togheter with, had the opportunity to know coaches, staff members, players and FCK amazing supporters. Thanks for everything!”
