Seydou Keita is “happy” for Francesco Totti but “he’s a player like any other in the dressing room”.

The Giallorossi captain came off the bench to win the game against Torino on Wednesday night, and has now contributed three goals and an assist in his last three appearances, all from the bench.

“I’m happy for Francesco,” Keita said in an interview with Sky.

“He’s a player like any other in the dressing room who helps the team win. I’m happy with the three points, but nothing more.

“If the three goals had come from Radja [Nainggolan], [Miralem] Pjanic or [Diego] Perotti I’d be happy just the same. We need to do everything on the pitch to win.

”The Lupi were tipped as potential Scudetto winners at the start of the season, but are now scrapping with Napoli for second place.

Juventus have gone and we just have to fight Napoli for second place. A team and a club like Roma must play in the Champions League.

“If we don’t win the Scudetto it’s important to still get into the Champions League. It’s not [Gonzalo] Higuain who will keep Napoli above Roma, but they have five more points than us.

“That’s the reality, but the season isn’t over so we have the opportunity to change it.

“It won’t be easy, but we’ll be playing at home with our fans behind us, so we’ll do everything to win.”
