Milan could hand Rafael Leao to Olympique Marseille, with Boubacar Kamara going to San Siro, according to reports in France and Portugal.

The 21-year-old midfielder can also play as a centre-back and has nine caps for France at Under-21 level.

His contract with Marseille runs out in June 2022 and he is a product of their youth academy, making 43 competitive appearances this season.

According to le10sport.com and Portuguese transfer pundit Pedro Almeida, an exchange deal is on the cards between the two clubs.

Milan need to raise funds for new strikers, realising Leao is not suited to being a centre-forward in the Zlatan Ibrahimovic mould.

He is no stranger to Ligue 1, having previously played for Lille before his transfer to Italy.

Leao is valued at closer to €30m, so Marseille may well have to add cash to their offer of Kamara.

The swap would give the Rossoneri a defensive midfielder to work alongside Franck Kessie, who has been so far irreplaceable in the middle of the park.

Now that they have qualified for the Champions League, Milan need other options to choose from.
