Juventus are increasingly concerned they could lose the star of their youth team, as Benfica have reportedly approached Kenan Yildiz and he is unhappy with his treatment in Turin.

The 17-year-old striker was born in Germany of Turkish descent and came through the Bayern Munich academy before Juve snapped him up as a free agent in the summer of 2022.

Yildiz has been the absolute star of their Primavera side, scoring 14 goals and providing six assists in 31 competitive games, including three goals in six UEFA Youth League appearances.

He also made his debut in the NextGen team that plays among the professionals in Serie C, and is headed towards the senior squad in future.

However, over the last few days there have been growing reports he is not pleased with the prospects presented to him by Juventus and is considering an exit.

Benfica would appear to be the side in the best position to make a move and can guarantee him regular football in the senior squad, something Juve are so far resisting.
