Dusan Vlahovic is chasing records of Cristiano Ronaldo, Paulo Dybala and Gonzalo Higuain at Juventus, but the Bianconeri star could start on the bench against his former club Fiorentina today.

The Serbia international has netted in two consecutive Serie A games and has never found the net in three matches in a row since joining the Bianconeri from the Tuscans in January 2022.

It remains to be seen if he’ll have a chance to leave his mark today as he is expected to remain on the bench against La Viola at the Stadio Franchi.

The 22-year-old has scored 11 goals in 19 games with the Bianconeri and only three players in history have scored more goals in their first 20 appearances: Cristiano Ronaldo and Gonzalo Higuain (14 each) and Paulo Dybala with 12.

Vlahovic has already collected three appearances against his former club Fiorentina since joining Juventus eight months ago, failing to find the net in each meeting.
