Juventus keeper Wojciech Szczęsny was scared by tachycardia but has been reassured after exams undergone at the Allianz Stadium.

The Poland international was subbed off at the end of the first half of Juventus’ Europa League clash against Sporting CP in Turin on Wednesday night.

Sources tell Football Italia the ex-Arsenal keeper struggled to breathe and was scared by tachycardia Italia, therefore, he was subbed off leaving the pitch in tears.

The Poland international always remained alert during checks by Juventus’ doctors, but seemed quite worried when he left the pitch, before speaking to coach Massimiliano Allegri.

Szczesny has already undergone preliminary heart checks at the Allianz Stadium and luckily the ECG came back negative. Nevertheless, the Pole will undergo further examinations on Friday morning at the J Medical.

Sky Sport reports the 32-year-old looked much calmer after undergoing examinations at the Juventus Stadium.

Juventus confirmed on Twitter that ‘after an initial check, Tek is doing well.’
