Mohamed Ihattaren has reportedly left agent Mino Raiola and is working with a personal trainer, but the termination of his contract with Juventus seems likely after he ran out on Sampdoria.

The 19-year-old talent was signed from PSV Eindhoven on transfer deadline day for €1.9m plus bonuses and immediately loaned to Sampdoria.

However, after a few training sessions, Ihattaren asked for permission to go back to the Netherlands over a personal matter and has not been seen since.

There were all sorts of rumours, from the idea he had gone AWOL to being ready to abandon his football career completely.

Now Voetbal International in Holland claims Ihattaren has left agent Raiola and signed up with Ali Dursun, who already represents Frenkie de Jong and Donny van de Beek.

Having walked away from the loan deal at Sampdoria, it is increasingly likely that Juventus will try to terminate their contract with the player by mutual consent too.

Meanwhile, Ihattaren is seemingly targeting a continuation of his career and hired a personal trainer to get him into shape in Utrecht.

  1. Initially, there was talk of him having mental health issues, but he seems OK if he is dumping his manager and looking to play in the Netherlands. The kid needs some form of punishment for going AWOL and breaching his contract with Juve. Clubs should be able to sue in these situations.
