Juventus are reportedly ready to meet with Nicolo Fagioli’s entourage next week to try to agree a contract renewal.

The 21-year-old Italian midfielder spent last season on loan with Cremonese and he stood out, playing a key role in their promotion winning run. He returned to Turin earlier this summer and many fans had been hoping to see him break into the first team, something Massimiliano Allegri is ready to allow.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, Juventus have already been in contact with Fagioli’s entourage to discuss a contract renewal and they’re gearing up for a decisive meeting next week, which could be enough to tie down the 21-year-old to a new four-year contract.

The Bianconeri are also planning to bump the Italian midfielder’s salary in order to reflect his increased importance to the club. The prospect of playing for the Juventus first team in the upcoming season has seemingly proved key in helping convince Fagioli of the renewal.

  1. If Pogba and Mckennie hadn’t been injured, I’d really doubt they would give a youngster this chance.
