According to L’Equipe, Juventus will miss out on Anthony Martial in January, as the Manchester United forward will be loaned to Sevilla.

Multiple reports had stated over the last few days that Manchester United rejected the original Sevilla proposal, because they wanted a fee for the loan, as well as for the full salary to be covered by the Spanish side.

Now French newspaper L’Equipe claims that Sevilla director Monchi has made Martial his absolute priority for the January transfer window, so is prepared to meet those conditions, or at least come closer to them in negotiations.

Juventus had been hoping to pick up Martial on loan with an option to buy, bolstering their attacking options after struggling to score goals this season.

Martial is eager to move on from Old Trafford after making his 10 competitive appearances this season, as confirmed by new interim manager Ralf Rangnick.

The 26-year-old has 30 senior caps for France, in which he scored two goals.
