Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot is back training separately from his teammates, but the illness is spreading through the France camp ahead of the World Cup Final.

Rabiot was so ill last night that he did not even attend the 2-0 semi-final victory over Morocco and was left at home in the training base to recover.

Dayot Upamecano was at least ready to sit on the bench, but now the bug seems to be spreading, as Kinglsey Coman has also been struck down by the fever and did not sit for his teammates to have lunch today.

According to L’Equipe, Rabiot is now feeling a little better, enough to have a physiotherapy session and resume running on the field from today.

However, the Juve star faces a race against time to be in good enough shape to start Sunday’s World Cup Final against Argentina.

He’ll be up against familiar opponents, specifically his Juventus teammates Angel Di Maria and Leandro Paredes, while Paulo Dybala – now at Roma – is likely to be on the bench.
